Rellation Between the Levels of Parent’s Education, Knowledge, and Also Parent’s Prevention Act to the Disease of Diarrhea Towards Cases of Toddlers Diarrhea on Natar’s Village Posyandu Natar Subdistrict South Lampung of Regency 2013

Abstract

Diarrhea it is also becoming one of  the diseases that we can easily find in society. There are many factors that make influence to this diarrhea to could possibly get into the children, they are ; the level of  parent’s education, the level of parent’s knowledge, and also the level of parent’s prevention act towards diarrhea. The aim of this research is to knowing rellation between the levels of parent’s education, knowledge, and also parent’s prevention act to the the disease of diarrhea towards cases of  toddlers diarrhea on Natar’s Village Posyandu. The design of this research is using the Descriptive-Analitical method with Cross Sectional approach. This research is take date on December 2013, and also involves 161 samples of respondents. The with drawal of those samples on each posyandu has been done using proportional simple random sampling method. respondents whose low preventional acts towards diarrhea. From the analysis using Fisher's Exact test p-value of 0.000 obtained for the level of education with prevention act to the disease of diarrhea towards cases precautions with p-value of 0.000, while knowledge of the incidence of diarrhea using Chi-square test with p-value 0.000. So the conclusion of this research is there are connections  between the level of parent’s education,  and knowledge,  towards the amount of cases of toddlers diarrhea on Natar’s Village Posyandu.
