Abstract

Hypertension is one of the diseases that result in high morbidity. Hypertension would give symptoms that may cause a target organ’s failure such as the brain (stroke), heart blood vessels (coronary heart disease),and heart muscle (left ventricular hypertrophy). Miss (E), female, 53 years old, with hypertension and diabetes mellitus. Searched causes hypertension and diabetes mellitus and their affected family members. Analysis of causes, such as underlying disease or other risk factors that cause a patient's disease is a derivative of one of the family members and risk factors such as obesity and lack of exercise awareness. Furthermore, given the management of the disease nonmedikamentosa and medical. Educated patients about the disease and the importance of diet, exercise, and compliance in taking the drug. Showed symptoms such as headache disappeared, blood pressure and sugar levels in patients stabilized. The cause of hypertension in this patients is essential hypertension who are most likely derived from genetic factors. Management of hypertension of these patients achieved the target blood pressure wasdesired, thus preventing further complications of hypertension and patient education to avoid precipitating factors of hypertension.
