A 42 YEARS OLD WOMAN WITH STAGE 5 CHRONIC RENAL FAILURE AND MODERATE ANEMIA

Abstract


Kidney failure is the failure of the kidneys remove from the blood metabolites were collected and classified into acute renal failure and chronic renal failure. The data in some parts of Nephrology in Indonesia, estimated the incidence of chronic renal failure ranges from 100-150 per million population and the prevalence reaches 200-250 cases per million population. Mrs Y, age 42 years delivered to the Abdoel Moeloek hospital by her family with shortness of breath felt since 3 months before entering the hospital, other complaints of cough with phlegm mixed with blood, decreased appetite, nausea, vomiting, oligouria. In addition, patients have a history of hypertension since one year ago. Physical examination blood pressure 160/100 mmHg, pulse rate 70 x / minute, respiratory rate 44 / minute, temperature 36,5ºC, weight 60 kg, conjungtiva anemis and other generalist normal status. Laboratory tests obtained Hb = 5.9 g / dl, urea = 202 ​​mg / dl, creatinine = 20.4 mg / dl, and the value of LFG 3.4 ml / min / 1.73 m2. X-ray of thoracic examination and ECG with results within normal limits. In patients diagnosed with stage V chronic kidney failure and moderate anemia then patient’s management are PRC blood transfusion 800cc, medical treatment and hemodialysis are done twice a week.
