ASTHMA MANAGEMENT IN ADOLESCENT STUDENTS WITH RISK FACTORS IN THE HOUSE

Abstract


Asthma is a chronic respiratory disease that is important and is a serious public health problem in many countries around the world. Asthma can be mild but can be settled and interfere with daily activities and even activities. Decreased productivity due to absenteeism or school, and can lead to disability (disability). Most of experiencing severe asthma protracted, usually more persistent than the weather. This  is a major factor that must be considered in the environmental interventions to reduce the incidence of recurrence of asthma. Case. R, 16 years old student who is suffering from short breath complaints often arise since 6 weeks. Coughing and short breathness often induced if there is  dust around. Shortness of breath relapse 2 times in daylight and 1 time at night. Every time an attack arise patients just rest and then usually it disappear. Wheezing obtained from physical examination. In this case the patient was diagnosed with asthma. Conclusion. After the intervention the number of asthma attacks in 4 weeks reduced to zero. During the intervention to the patient, not only the clinical issues but also the psycho-social. Therefore, the holistic examination and treatment, comprehensive and continous.In the implementation of the intervention patients adhere better yet grandfather who has not executed a smoker quit smoking but he smoke outside the house.
